The green fibre bottle is the flagship project of ecoXpac
For several years it has been the vision of ecoXpac to develop and refine the thermoformed fibre process with regard to energy consumption and production time and to place it among the most sought out solutions for packaging products. The bottle made from organic fibers has several benefits ranging from cosmetic to environmental. The processes being developed at ecoXpac are able to handle many unlike sizes and shapes, meeting our customers wishes and demands. The fibrous material itself possesses never before seen mechanical and surface properties and as a bonus it is made from compounds that is either biodegradable in natural environments or biologically inert as chalk and clays. The bottle will be able to enter a recycling cascade before returning to the source, not as waste but as a resource for the next generations.
The project is carried out in collaboration with some strong and resourceful partners among which can be mentioned Technical University of Denmark, Carlsberg, Danish Technological Institute, and BillerudKorsnäs from Sweden. Furthermore, the project has to this day received support from several funds including Horizon2020, the Danish Market Development Fund, The Danish Innovation fund, and the Danish Eco-innovation program.
As an innovation and development company we are happy to present the product of tomorrow: The Green Fibre Bottle.
